About Friends of Adaklu (FOA)

FOA moves from village to village, working with each community to help them deal with the local issues that are stopping them from thriving. Focusing on self-reliance, resilience, and community-led development, FOA is always ready to lend a helping hand. Our ambassadors are the very people we've supported—proud, skilled, and eager to share their knowledge with others.

About Nunya Village: Nunya Village is a self-sustaining social enterprise that tackles youth unemployment through cultural preservation and pride.

The Story of Nunya Village

Nunya Village is a FOA project and was built on FOA principles. It stands on land donated by Togbe Senya IV, Head and Lawful Representative of the KPAFOE Clan of Adaklu Tsrefe. FOA provided the tools and materials, however it is the people of Adaklu who came together to raise it to the skies, making Nunya Village truly theirs.
